New to Kingswood?

Welcome to Kingswood!

Our vision is to be a personal church in an impersonal world by fostering close connections between our members, visitors, families in our preschool, and the surrounding community. We emphasize growing deeper in faith through our prayer, presence, service, witness, and gifts by offering numerous ways for new members of all ages to get involved — children, youth, and adults.

Kingswood United Methodist Church is located in Dunwoody, Georgia, just a few miles north of downtown Atlanta. We are a family-oriented church with a growing congregational family. As a branch of The United Methodist Church, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Come Worship with Us

Join us for our family-friendly traditional service at 11:00 a.m. or our reflective service at 8:45 a.m. Both services last about an hour.

Children and Youth Ministry

We have programs for infants through high school youth, focusing on allowing each individual to learn to love Christ. We invite you to explore information for families to learn more about our programs!

Preschool, Sports & Fitness, Scouting, and Other Community Ministries

The members of Kingswood are active in the community! We have a renowned preschool for ages 2 through kindergarten that offers registration discounts for members, a dynamic sports and fitness program with after-school offerings for preschool and elementary age as well as summer camps, kids’ sports programs, and evening and weekend activities for adults. Kingswood has a strong scouting ministry and is proud to sponsor three units of the Boy Scouts of America: Cub Scout Pack 477, Boy Scout Troop 477, and Venture Crew 477.

We also have numerous community-focused ministries and service opportunities, including a twice-per-year KidStuff consignment sale that fully benefits the church’s mission programs and support of Stop Hunger Now.
